Meet Dr. Jodee Meddy
The Partner in Your Health Journey
Dr. Jodee Meddy is a board certified emergency medicine physician with an undergraduate degree and MBA in healthcare management from the University of Miami and a graduate of the Lake Erie College of Medicine. With a residency in Emergency Medicine at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and having published many articles, she brings over 17 years of experience and medical knowledge to her practice.
The philosophy behind Serenity Urgent Care and Wellness began from finding a solution to the frustration patients feel during long wait hours and overcrowded ERs. This urgent care was born out of Dr. Meddy’s experience working in emergency rooms and recognizing patient’s long wait times and medical issues that could be handled in an urgent care setting.
Dr. Meddy saw an opportunity to provide a better sense of care where many cases seen at an ER can be treated in a comfortable and calm environment and where follow up care is provided for every patient that comes in. Her practice is centered upon empathy and building long term relationships with patients. With a passion for mental health, Dr. Meddy hopes to provide support and reduce stigmas, proving that it’s about more than just that first visit at Serenity.
